Monica is a lawyer acting in the area of ​​Intellectual Property since August 1992. Graduated in Law from Faculdades Integradas Cândido Mendes – RJ on July 1994, with a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC, on June 2011. Monica completed the Advanced Course on Civil Procedures in Intellectual Property of the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents (ABAPI), on August 2011.

For 16 years, she was an associated attorney in an office specialized in Intellectual Property legal advice and participated in international Intellectual Property meetings by the International Trademark Association (INTA), IACC (International Anticounterfeting Corporation), AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protéction de la Propriété Intellectuelle ), ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Industrial Property), and was a Speaker at the LES (International Trademark Protection and Enforcement Conference on June 1998 in Palm Beach, Fl. – US. Monica joined Santucci & Alvarez Advogados on August 2018, after a period dedicated to consulting on Intellectual Property and e-commerce and franchising projects.
